PLEASE NOTE
I have been involved with the installation, service and repair of the Alde Slimline 2927 Domestic Boiler since its introduction to the UK market place in 1988.
In my experience, many heating engineers make FALSE statements when confronted with an Alde Slimline Boiler, such as:-
"Spare parts are no longer available for this boiler, and it cannot be repaired"
or just that
"It cannot be repaired and must be replaced"
In the majority of cases, this is TOTALLY UNTRUE, and all that is required is someone with the spare parts and skilled knowledge to carry out the required repair or part replacement

Many problems with slimline boilers are actually caused by engineers not having the necessary expertise when dealing with the Alde Slimline, and you could be saving £100's of pounds by calling me for free advice before acting
