I have a caravan and my friend has a motorhome, which we both use during the winter months. Is it possible to retrofit an Alde wet central heating system in place of the existing heating?

In most cases, it is not usually advisable to attempt an aftermarket Alde installation. The reason for this is that the furniture and fittings are usually designed specifically to accommodate an Alde system, which involves installing a radiator system around the walls of the caravan or motorhome, with air vents, to allow the free passage of air to the convectors to achieve the enveloping warm air flow which is characteristic to the Alde design. The difficulties encountered in the installation do not usually lead to a system of the standard acceptable to do credit to the Alde capability. Whilst it may be possible to retrofit an Alde system, the cost, to achieve a satisfactory result, is usually prohibitive.
